RULES & FAQ

Late check out may be available on a space available basis and must be pre-arranged at a cost of $10 PER HOUR. Guests who remain after 1 pm will be charged an additional night’s stay.

SECURITY
Management is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged articles. Keep your valuables, bikes and gear locked up.


TRASH
Refuse stations are located at the north and south restroom buildings and the Pavilion.


SAFETY
The tsunami evacuation route is located up the entry road, cross Cape Arago Hwy and continues east up Kellogg Lane (directly across from the resort entrance).


VEHICLE POLICY
Speed limit within the resort is 5mph. For the safety of all and to keep dust at a minimum, this rule is strictly enforced.
All vehicles must be registered at the front desk upon arrival. Working on vehicles is prohibited.
Anyone operating a motor vehicle must have a valid driver’s license.


PARKING
Please do not park on the grass or along the roadways. Extra passenger vehicles may be allowed on a space available basis at an additional fee of $5.00 per passenger vehicle per night.


TENT POLICY
No tents are allowed as well as sleeping in non-RVIA certified vehicles.


SPACE ASSIGNMENTS
Campsites and accommodations are assigned by resort staff. Please do not change sites without approval from the front desk. Site specific reservations may be available for an additional fee.


PET POLICY
Well-behaved pets are welcome and must be registered at the front desk upon arrival.

Pets must be kept on a maximum six foot leash at all times while within the resort. Pets may be off leash on the beach and in the water, but must be under the control of their owner at all times.

Pets may not be left outside unattended. Sorry no pet fencing allowed. Guests are responsible to clean up after their pet. All pet droppings must be properly disposed of in a trash receptacle or collection area. Guests should carry proof of pet’s current vaccinations.

Pets are prohibited in resort buildings, including restrooms.
Noisy, vicious or unruly pets are not allowed. Guests who are unable to control their pets must remove them from the premises, or the animal may be taken by local animal control authorities.

The resort is not responsible for and will hold accountable pet owner for any injury or damage caused by pets. In addition, the owner of the pet that causes injury or damage to others is expected to resolve the issue directly with the injured party.
Pets are allowed in specific cabin rentals and must be declared at the time of reservation. A pet fee of $25 per stay for up to two pets will be added to any cabin rental with pets occupying the unit.


CODE OF CONDUCT
Please keep your campsite tidy and litter free.
Parents are responsible for their children’s behavior and compliance with resort rules.
Please be courteous to other guests around you and do not walk through other campsites.
Loud objectionable noise is not allowed at any time.
Profanity, aggression, violence, or inconsideration towards other guests and/or resort personnel will not be tolerated.


FIREARMS AND FIREWORKS POLICY
Firearms and fireworks are strictly prohibited.


FIRES
There are communal fire pits located on the south end of the resort and at the Seaview Terrace located at the Clubhouse.
Never leave a campfire unattended and fully extinguish them when you are done enjoying them.
Please do not use portable grills on the picnic tables without protecting the table from heat and food splatter.
Firewood is available at the front desk for a nominal fee, and can be delivered directly to your site.


NATURE
Bay Point Landing is located on a thriving estuary in the United States and is subject to natural forces such as wind, tides, and waves. The estuary is also home to a thriving wildlife population that includes sea lions, seals, and birds. Bay Point Landing is situated along a tidal river. The tide can come in and create swift currents rather quickly and there is no lifeguard on duty.
Crabbing and clamming are allowed on our beach. A shellfish license is required for these activities.
Please do not cut, trim or otherwise disturb the natural vegetation in and around the resort.
Please do not feed, disturb or approach wild animals or birds.
