At Bay Point Landing, your safety, health, and comfort is of most importance to us. We are fortunate to provide unsurpassed lodging and recreation experiences in the fresh, coastal outdoors, and we want to share with you the actions we are taking in response to COVID-19 to keep your mind at ease.
WE ARE OPEN
As the local and state government continues to ease restrictions, we are opening approved amenities while taking care and extra precaution to promote the health and safety of our guests and staff. All accommodations and amenities are open (including the Pool as of 6/19/20), with the exception of our playground area. We invite you to refresh in our beautiful spaces – both indoor and out.
WHAT WE ARE DOING
The health and safety of our guests and staff has always been our priority. At Bay Point Landing, we acknowledge and embrace the space and peace that our beautiful 100-acre property provides. Our environs promote fresh air, comfort, and room to roam. Caring for our space, our health, and the experience we provide is our directive, and we’ve modified our policies in the following ways:
// Arrival and Departure — We have implemented a self check-in procedure to minimize contact. Upon arrival onsite, look for our “after hours check-in” box outside of our General Store. Inside the box you will find your check-in packet that includes a map of the property highlighting directions to your site or accommodation, allowing you to proceed directly to your Modern Cabin, Airstream, or RV site. Upon check-out, simply depart your site or accommodation (with the key inside) by check-out time.
// Bathhouse and Laundry Facilities — Our restroom and laundry buildings remain open 24-hours a day and maintained with enhanced cleaning and sterilization practices in place during business hours. Use of these facilities is at the discretion of our guests. Social distancing practices of maintaining six (6) feet distance between individuals is required by State Executive Order. Our restrooms are fully equipped with antimicrobial soap for your use.
// Modern Cabins and Airstreams — We are following the latest industry and CDC guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing practices. Upon guest checkout from our Modern Cabins and Airstreams, in addition to our high standards of housekeeping, we sanitize all surfaces, handles, windows pulls, and commonly touched areas with an EPA-registered cleaning agent. Kitchen appliances, dishes, cups, silverware and utensils receive an additional sanitizing process by our staff.
// Common Areas and Amenities — we have enhanced the cleaning frequency of these spaces and thoroughly sanitize all surfaces with an EPA-registered cleaning agent. All common areas and amenities also offer hand sanitizer, and most are within short proximity to running water with antimicrobial soap.
// General Store — Our General Store is open during business hours, while practicing social distancing with floor markers and sneeze guards at the registration counter. Guests may also purchase store goods from the General Store via text message for complimentary delivery to your site.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
// If you feel you are at all unwell or are displaying symptoms of the coronavirus, please do not travel or visit us at Bay Point Landing.
// Practice good hygiene. Wash your hands frequently, cover your nose and mouth when you sneeze or cough, and while we are looking forward to your visit, please stay home if you suspect you have been exposed to the virus, or if you are at all unwell.
// Maintain a six foot social distance from all individuals who are not members of your immediate household.
WORRY-FREE BOOKING POLICY
During these uncertain times, we want to provide our guests the opportunity to book their getaway without any risk or obligation. Our Worry-Free Booking Policy waives the cancellation fee* on all reservations at Bay Point Landing booked by July 31, 2020 for any future stay through 2020.

*Worry-Free Booking Policy is only valid on reservations placed prior to July 31, 2020 for any future stays throughout 2020. Cancellations must be processed prior to 72 hours in advance of arrival date to waive the cancellation fee. Reservations cancelled within 72 hours prior to arrival, including day of arrival, will be charged in accordance with Bay Point Landing’s cancellation policy. Policy is not valid for stays over 28 days. Policy expires July 31, 2020. Stays must be completed by December 31, 2020.
